The name Il Varo comes from one of the greatest shipwrights who lived on the island. It is located right on the beach of S. Maria, a beautiful seaside village which is about 1 km from the port. The daughter of the "master" renovated this house, trying not to overturn some details, such as the long corridor that gives access to all the rooms, but adding a touch of modernity. The house is in front of the spectacular bay of the ancient port of S. Maria and its small beach, from where taxi boats leave for the beach of Frontone, where it is possible to rent boats, rafts and book boat trips.
